Barclays said on Thursday that it has sold its stake in joint venture Entercard Group to partner Swedbank AB at book value, estimated at 2.6 billion crowns ($273.2 million) as of March 31.

Swedish banking group Swedbank reported a net profit for the second quarter that beat market expectations on Thursday but said the global economy remained marked by uncertainty with weakening activity in its main market Sweden.

The lender said the new target applies through 2027, but warned of uncertainty amid geopolitical tensions.

Swedish banking group Swedbank said on Wednesday it was setting a target of at least 15% return on equity in the coming years, in line with a previous goal running through this year, and said geopolitical tensions were creating uncertainty.
