CRH, Carvana, and Comfort Systems USA will join the S&P 500 as part of the benchmark index's quarterly rebalancing, said S&P Dow Jones Indices after Friday's market close.

Carvana, Comfort Systems and CRH will join the S&P 500 index before the open on Dec. 22. All three breaking out.

Those four companies, culled from a list drawn up by KBW analyst Shreyank Gandhi, are among the largest not in the index.
