Block ecosystems Square and Cash App have begun rolling out a feature that will allow eligible Square sellers to automatically convert a portion of their daily sales to bitcoin with Cash App. The rollout of this new Bitcoin Conversions feature began Wednesday (April 24), Block said in an email to PYMNTS.

Block, the company behind Square, Cash App and other services, announced a new program today allowing merchants using Square's solutions to convert a percentage of their daily sales to bitcoin. The feature, rolling out in the U.S. starting today, will transfer 1-10% of Square sellers' daily sales to their personal Cash App account.

Block's monetization rate reached an all-time high in Q4. Management intends to live by its 12,000-employee cap for years. Block's balance sheet position and cash flow profile have never been better.

Square has expanded the availability of offline payments to every hardware device, in every country.
