Spanish telecoms operator Telefonica said it teamed up with billionaire Elon Musk's satellite network operator Starlink to provide internet connection to rural and remote customers.

Telefonica has approached British telecoms group Vodafone about a potential deal involving internet broadband networks in Spain, the Spanish company's chief operating officer told Bloomberg News on Friday.
