Jabil Inc. shares declined in Thursday's extended trading after the company said its chief executive was going on paid leave pending an investigation related to company policies.

Jabil Inc has placed Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Wilson on a paid leave since April 15 pending completion of an investigation related to corporate policies, the electronic components maker said on Thursday.

The electronics contract manufacturer said the conduct in question doesn't relate to or affect the its financial statements. The company named CFO Michael Dastoor as interim CEO.
